This island nation off the coast of southeast Africa is the fourth largest island in the world. Known as a biodiversity hotspot, over 90% of the wildlife on the island is found nowhere else on the planet. Humans settled on the island about 2500 years ago and many migrations over the years have created a very diverse population. Come learn about the diverse plant, animal, and human populations of the island and the environmental changes that threaten their future.
